Adele just took home her first Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards on Sunday night for Best Original Song.
 
Adele was awarded the golden statue for her song, "Skyfall," from the James Bond film of the same name. This is the first time a song from a Bond movie has won the coveted award.
 
"Skyfall" beat out other songs for the win, including "Before My Time" from Chasing Ice, "Pi's Lullaby" from Life Of Pi, "Suddenly" from Les Misérables and "Everybody Needs A Best Friend" from Ted.Adele isn't just a shoe-in for the Grammys.
